Joseph T. Balogh

Masury – Joseph T. Balogh, 81, passed away Sunday morning, February 2, 2025 the Hospice House in Poland. 

Joseph was born on April 10, 1943 in Youngstown, OH a son of his late mother, Stephanie Barwick and stepfather, Phillip Roumnn. 

He was a graduate of North High School and a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He was an operating engineer and a precision crane operator for Local 66. 

In his younger years, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and shooting. He also enjoyed watching Western movies and reading Western novels. 

Joseph will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Mary Helen Balogh; children, Glenn Balogh and Cindy (Michael) Rudinsky; and grandson, Noah Balogh. 

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Roumm. 

Per Joseph’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements were entrusted with Lane Funeral Homes – Madasz Chapel in Brookfield. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Valley - Hospice House located at 9800 Sharrott Rd. Youngstown, OH 44514 in Joseph’s memory.
