Joseph E. Hunsinger

Memorial services will be 7 pm Monday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel for Joseph E. Hunsinger who passed away at home Thursday. Joe was born December 22, 1946 in Hazleton, PA. A veteran of the United States Marine Corps, he retired as a truck driver after many years of service. In his free time, Joe enjoyed fishing and hunting. He will be sadly missed by his wife the former Ruth Bieble, whom he married July 31, 1991; four children: Joseph (Lisa) Hunsinger of Buck Mountain, PA, Jimmy Hunsinger, Jackie (Horeg) Zumdimo and Chris Yacnac all of Hazleton, PA; two step children: George (Jennifer) Hvise of Niles and Jennifer Hvise of Steubenville; three sisters: Emma, Nancy, and Ruthie; one brother: Earl: seventeen grandchildren; and one great grandson. Besides his parents, Joe is predeceased by a sister Red and two brothers: Buddy and Ernie. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans in Joe's name. Friends may call from 6 pm until 7 pm Monday at the funeral home prior to the services.
