Joseph F. Augustine

Joseph F. Augustine, 86, passed away on March 13, 2019 at Gillette Nursing Home. Joe was born in Ronco, PA on July 21, 1932 to Gregorio & Rena (Julini) Augustine. On May 29, 1954, Joe was united in marriage to the former Margaret Miter who preceded him in death on April 6, 2012. Joe spent his career working for Republic Steel. He also owned and operated The Saw Shop out of his home. After retiring in the late 80s, Joe spent many years doing lawn maintenance for Anchor Freight. Always a hard worker, when he wasnt working Joe could be found tending his gardens or woodworking growing delicious vegetables and making beautiful furniture. Joe is survived by his children Joseph (Theresa) Augustine, Michael (Linda) Augustine and Lori (Curtis) McLewis; his grandchildren: Joseph, Eric, Danielle, Michael, Amanda, Emily and Curtis; his great-grandchildren Andrew, Jack, Alex, Amelia and Amaya. Besides his wife of 57 years, Joe was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Angelo and sister Clara. A funeral service for Joe will be held on Saturday March 16th, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Lane Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel, Warren where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
