Joseph Frank Bailey

WARREN- Joseph Frank Bailey, 91, passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital in Warren, Ohio surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on October 18, 1923 in Massillon, Ohio, son of the late Joseph and Helen Bailey. Joe was a Veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II. Joe retired from Wean United in 1983 where he served as the Executive Vice President of Manufacturing. He was a member of the Trumbull Country Club, and a past member of the Buckeye Club and the Warren Rotary Club. Joe was an avid sports fan, rooting for The Ohio State University and all Cleveland sports teams. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing card games, specifically gin rummy and poker. Joe also had a passion for cars- the bigger the engine and the faster the car, the better. He loved to spend time in his flower garden, working hard to plant and grow flowers from early spring until late autumn. Joe is survived by Martha (Puncsak) Bailey and Genevieve "Purr" Bauman; children, Daniel Bailey of Florida, Bonnie (Jim) Ulam of Howland, and Scott (Barbara) Bailey of California; seven grandchildren, Mike (Barbara) Bailey, Nickie (Buddy) Guzman, Scott Bailey, Ursula (Ryan) Lawrence, David Ulam, Daniel Bailey and Robert Bailey; two great-grandchilden, Taylor and Ryley Lawrence of Warren; two nieces, Linda (Larry) Cadman and Renee (Rick) Mitchell; one dog, Dezzy and one cat, Valentina. Joe was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Helen Hodson. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts Clark Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive NE, Warren, Ohio 44483, from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M.
