Joseph R. Tuttle

Funeral services will be held 1PM Friday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Joseph R. Tuttle age 72 of 292 Idlewood Rd., Austintown who died Monday afternoon at Northside Hospital. Joe was born Aug. 5, 1930 in Pittsburgh, Pa. and came to this area in 1969. He was the son of Joseph and Lucia (Grande) Tuttle. He had been parts manager and salesman for various trucking companies retiring in 1992. Joe was a member of Austintown A.A.R.P. and had served in the Marines during the Korean War. Joseph also enjoyed woodworking. He is survived by his wife Joan E. (Niedbalski) Tuttle whom he married March 15, 1952, three daughters, Deborah Holbrook of Mineral Ridge, Janette Cole and Barbara Tuttle both of Austintown, and a son Robert P. Tuttle of Poland, OH, a brother John Tuttle of Toledo, OH, 7 granddaughters, 2 step grandsons, and 1 great grandson. Friends may call from 6-8 PM Thursday and 1 hour prior to services on Friday. The family requests that material contributions take the form of donations to the American Diabetes Assoc.
