Joseph Soltis

Joseph Soltis, 83, passed away on January 22, 2025, at his home in Niles, Ohio. 

He was born October 5,1941 in Banks, Pennsylvania to the late Mike and Mary (Philips) Soltis. He married Beth Hall in 1962, and they celebrated 61 years of marriage before her death in 2023. 

Joe is survived by his and Beth's children, Elizabeth Carol (David) Prokop and Joe (Michele) Soltis, and two grandchildren, Rachael and Daniel Prokop. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings Mildred, John, Andy, Mike, MaryAnn, Irene, Helen, Pete, Rich, and Stephen. 

Joe worked at General Motors for 40 years. He took pride in his work and enjoyed spending time outdoors with his dogs, vegetable garden, and lawnmower. In their retirement, Joe and Beth liked to visit casinos together, spoil their dogs and cats, and watch the turkeys and deer in their backyard.
