Judith Ann Stokes, born in Newell, West Virginia August 4, 1939 a daughter of Gerald and Bertha Rhodes. Her parents preceded her in death along with her brother Larry Rhodes.
She passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, surrounded by her family that loved her dearly. She was 85 years old.
A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Judy shared 68 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Thomas Elmer Stokes Sr.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas E. Stokes Sr. her loving children, Teri and Frank Wolford, Thomas and Cheryl Stokes, Lynda and Brad Fedorchak, Jeri and Randy Cameron, her brother, Gerald and Sharon Rhodes; 16 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren She will also be deeply missed by members of her church, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Judy was a proud member of the Rebecca Lodge, First United Methodist Church of Mineral Ridge. She had a passion for sewing, sitting on the beach and found joy in travel, working as a travel agent and exploring new places alongside her husband.
Her family will forever remember her kindness, creativity, and the warmth she brought.
A private service for immediate family will be held to honor her life.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember Judy by celebrating life, love, and the simple joys that bring families together.
