Julia C. Cicchillo, age 102 of Warren passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 11, 2024. She was born on April 6, 1922, in Youngstown to the late Angelo and Maria Simeone Napolitan.
Julia was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the surviving child of 8 siblings and a parishioner of St. William Catholic Church. She enjoyed dancing, bowling, slot machines, and her weekly game of blackjack with her friends. She and her husband ran Chick’s Florist and Greenhouse in Leavittsburg from 1948-1970.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Cicchillo; daughter, Mary Ann Lanahan; son-in-law, Richard Coles; grandson, Michael Lanahan; and her parents.
She is survived by her children, Shirley Coles and James (Bobette) Cicchillo; son-in-law, Donald Lanahan, Sr; grandchildren, Donald (Lisa Kaschak) Lanahan, Jr., James (Robin) Lanahan, Thomas (Lori) DeCamp, David DeCamp, Joseph Cicchillo, Mario (Lauren) Cicchillo, along with 9 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting monetary donations be made to St. William Catholic Church.
Calling hours will be held 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Lane Funeral Home, Roberts-Clark Chapel 180 Garfield Dr. NE Warren, OH 44483 and from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM Thursday, May 16, 2024, at St. William Catholic Church 5411 Mahoning Ave. NW Warren, OH 44483 with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
