Katherine “Kit” M. Nanosky Moore, 74 of Central City, Colorado, formerly of Tuscan, Arizona, died peacefully with family by her bedside, October 25, 2019 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Colorado.
Kit was born September 23, 1945 in Boston, the daughter of the late Robert and Grace (Stambaugh) Keagy.
Kit was adventurous, traveling the world with her family, while her family served in the military. She enjoyed the culture of Japan, Germany and Havana, Cuba. She was born with a beautiful singing voice which led her to travel with the USO to sing for the troops.
Kit loved to host parties at Christmas and New Years and extended into other celebrations such as Super Bowl parties and many other holidays. Her passion to sing was picked back up in later years and she enjoyed singing karaoke every Friday night.
Kit is survived by her husband Thomas Moore, Family members Michael Keagy, Elizbeth Kowalke, Claudia Brewington, David Keagy, Albert Lambing, Carla Ferree, David Lambing and John Nanosky, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren, with one on the way.
The family will receive relatives and friends from on November 16, 2019 from 11:00 AM- 12:00 PM at St. Joseph's Church in Austintown. A Memorial Mass will immediately follow at 12:00 PM at the church. The family wishes to thank all that cared for her during her last days especially the nursing staff Jack, Alyse, Jen and Katie.
