Kathryn J. Payne

Kathryn J. Payne, 74 of North Jackson died Tuesday afternoon, February 4, 2025 at her residence. Katherine was born October 1, 1951, a daughter of the late Fred and Roselea (Ball )Winters and was a lifelong area resident. She attended Jackson Milton High School and was a dedicated member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Warren. Kathryn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be dearly missed. She leaves her husband, Johnny Lee Payne, whom she married July 12, 1971; her daughter Sherry Holk of Burghill; a son, Michael Payne of North Jackson; six grandchildren, Tiffany, Crystal, Talon, Connor, Donavan, Quinzel and two great grandchildren, Ryder and Lochlyn.. Kathryn also leaves her brother, Frank Winters of Austintown. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Winters. Kathryn looked forward to time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may call on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
