Karen Sue Taylor, 70, of Youngstown, Ohio passed away on January 6th, 2025. She was born on December 9th. 1954 to the late Robert Pyles and Mary (Teets) Pyles in Grafton, WV.
Karen was a graduate of Jackson Milton High School and went on to attend Youngstown State University. She worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital in Warren, Ohio as a data processor and in the IT department. Karen held many interests such as crocheting, a love for reading, a founding member of Disciples of Jesus Fellowship, being an active member at Grace Fellowship Church and its many programs, and caring for her cats and dogs, but her number one interest was spending time with her nieces and nephews.
Karen is survived by her son Christopher (Tawnya) Miller, her siblings Robert (Diann) Pyles Jr., Kathryn Humberston, Shari (Randy) DeBolt, Scott (Lisa) Pyles, and Mark (Dena) Pyles, a grandchild Ian, and her nieces and nephews, Joshua Humbertson, Chelsey Sines, Matthew DeBolt, Anna Richmond, Donnie Brady, Jackie Hawkins, Melissa Pyles, and Jamie Selig, as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Karen is preceded in death by her late husband, Kenneth Taylor, her parents, a brother-in-law, Joe Humberston, and two nephews, Ryan Pyles and Jeremy DeBolt.
