Kenneth G. Burgess

Memorial services will be held 7 PM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Kenneth G. Burgess age 81 of McDonald, OH who died Monday morning at Glen View Manor. Ken was born July 5, 1921 in Morgantown, WV. and was the son of Hosea K. and Mamie P. (Riley) Burgess. He retired in 1983 after 30 years with R.M.I. where he had been a grinder. Ken Ieaves his wife Florence E. (Spitznogle) Burgess whom he married April 19, 1942. He also leaves two daughters Carol Timmerman of Alexandria, VA, Susan DeMarco of Knoxville, TN, one son Kenneth G. Burgess Jr. of McDonald, 3 sisters Betty Radcliffe of Groveland, FL, Shirley Boylard of Mt. Morris, Pa., Agnes Burgess of Groveland, FL, eight grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter Hazel R. Cochran, a son David Burgess and a brother Paul Burgess. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home.
