Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel for Kenneth H. Davis, 75, who passed away on Tuesday while playing golf. Mr. Davis was born June 29, 1942 in Youngstown, the son of Harry and Alice (Young) Davis. He was a painter; starting with Hall Painting in 1962 and was then employed with Harris Painting; retiring in 1999 from Masterpiece Painting. Ken was a past-president of Painter and Allied Trades, Local No. 476. He was a member, trustee, and past-president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie No. 2172 in Girard, and a member of the Moose Lodge in both Warren and Niles. He had been a volunteer fireman with the Mineral Ridge Fire Dept. He enjoyed traveling and had taken two separate cross-country car trips with his wife Patricia. He also loved to golf, enjoyed camping, playing cards, and traveling to garage sales and flea markets. They also enjoyed wintering in Davenport, Florida for 13 years. Ken is survived by his wife of 55 years, the former Patricia L. (Shank), whom he married on July 7, 1962; his daughter Suzan (Edward) Bollinger of Mineral Ridge; his son, Charles (Darci) Davis of Girard; his granddaughters, Britney (Juan) Cardona and Sara (Ivan Mijatovic) Stabile; great-grandchildren: Juan Jr., Mia, Dominik, and Madilyn. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marilyn Bricker. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-6 PM on Sunday and 10-11 AM on Monday prior to the service.
