Kenneth W. Evans

YOUNGSTOWN—Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel, for Mr. Kenneth W. Evans, 77, of Youngstown who died Monday morning in Austinwoods Care Center. Kenneth was born October 26, 1924 in Youngstown, the son of John T. and Pearl (Parker) Evans and was a lifelong area resident. He had been employed as a welder for Youngstown Steel Door 42 years retiring in 1968. Kenneth was an Army veteran serving in the Battle of the Bulge during WWII. He leaves four sisters, Ruth Randolph of Boardman, Marjorie Yost of Austintown, Pearl Evans of Youngstown and June Jones of Rogers, OH. Two brothers, Byron and Jonathon Evans are deceased. Friends may cal from 10 to 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
