Laurel Leverne Gray

Laurel LeVerne Gray, age 87, of Warren passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at her home. Born July 12, 1930 in Mineral Ridge; she was the daughter of Clarence "Ray" and Beulah M. (Snyder) Young. She grew up in Mineral Ridge and graduated from Mineral Ridge High School in 1948. She worked for Giant Eagle in Howland from the mid 60s until her retirement. She loved gardening and loved baby-sitting her great-grandchildren. Survivors include her four children: Ray (Janet), Karen Denno, Robert (Lorinda), and Philip, who was her caregiver for many years; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother George Young. Besides her parents, she was preceded by her husband Kenneth L. Gray in 1985; brothers: Jack, Ernest, and Clarence, and a sister Francis. Friends will be received at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel on Saturday, May 19, 2018 from 2-4PM. Private inurnment will take place at Howland Cemetery.
