Lawrence P. Reigrut

Lawrence P. Reigrut, 61, passed unexpectedly on Thursday, October 18, 2018, in his hometown of Youngstown, OH. Larry was born on February 28, 1957 to George and Catherine (Matasek) Reigrut. He retired in 2016 after a prosperous career, including 18 years of service with Marathon Petroleum. Larry was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gun collector. He enjoyed Buckeye football, antique picking, and cooking meals big enough for the whole neighborhood. Larry was always good for a laugh. Larry is survived by his former wife Jayne; his children: Julie (Ben) Hermiller of Ottawa, OH, Bryan (Danielle) Reigrut of College Station, TX, Jessica Reigrut of Powell, TN, and Micheal Seidler of Sparks, NV; his granddaughter, Savannah Reigrut; his brothers and sister: Charles (Mary Ruth) Reigrut of Boardman, OH, Daniel (Mary Eloise) Reigrut of Spring, TX, and Georgia Ligotti of Leetonia, OH, and sister-in-law Melanie Reigrut of Oakland, MD. Larry will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Reigrut. Celebrate Larry's life by donating to Midwest Beagle Rescue, Education & Welfare, Inc., a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing beagles, a cause near and dear to Larry.
