Leona "Lee" M. Walters

Leona "Lee" M. Walters, 81, passed away on November 17, 2018 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Leona was born in Duck Creek, OH on May 12, 1937 to Harlan W. & Edna L. (Long) Wilson. She was a graduate of Jackson Milton High School. On December 8, 1956, Leona was united in marriage to Jerry L. Walters who preceded her in death on December 12, 2009. Lee spent her career working for Union Savings & Trust Company where she sold savings bonds. She retired in 1984 after 29 years of service. Leona was an active member of the Cortland Christian Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. Leona is survived by her sister Louise Gorman, her nephew Bobby Gorman and many other family members. Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Wilma "Willie" Milliron. A memorial service for Lee will held on Saturday December 1, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses; 3043 Bradley-Brownlee Rd., Cortland.
