FARMDALE – Leonard Osborn, 69, passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Leonard was born on June 8, 1955, a son of the late Leonard and Mabel Osborn.
He was a 1973 graduate of Maplewood High School and worked as a tow motor mechanic at Fallsway Equipment for 35 years, before retiring.
He enjoyed deer hunting and farming. He would do anything for anyone, always helping his neighbors, and his family. He enjoyed spending time with his family; especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
Leonard will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Carol Osborn, whom he married on Aug. 9, 2009; daughter, Kimberly (James) Meckley; stepchildren, Danielle Consla, Carl Maynard, and Brianna Maynard; grandchildren, Joshua Bentley, Kathryn Meckley, JJ Meckley, Brittnay Sterling, Andrew Molnar, and Jasmine Ellis; and sisters, Genise (Dennis) Lohr and Jean Revoir.
Family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. to noon, with funeral services at noon Saturday, Nov. 23, 2024, at Lane Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans chapel, located at 164 N. High St., Cortland.
Burial will take place in Johnston Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Ohio Living Hospice.
