Lilian A. Jacobs

Private services were held for Lillian A. Jacobs, 86 of Vista Care Center of Boardman, formerly of Canfield who died early Friday morning. Lillian was born October 31, 1931 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Frank M. and Gladys S. (Barrett) Jacobs and was a lifelong area resident. She graduated from Youngstown State University and Westminister College and had been a teacher for 44 years in the Youngstown City Schools, including Taft Elementary and Jackson Elementary where she retired September 1999. Lillian was a former member of Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church; a life member of the Ohio Teachers Association and a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, Rebekah Lodge #719. She will be sadly missed by cousins, Carole and Henry Socha. The family would like to thank Dr. Santuccio Ricciardi for his care and concern for many years.
