Linda Kay Mccarthy

Lordstown- Funeral services will be held 1 PM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Linda Kay McCarthy age 61 of 3565 Goldner Lane, Lordstown who died Friday eve. at Trumbull Memorial Hospital of Multiple Myeloma. Kay was born Jan. 15, 1941 in Meadville, Pa. and was the daughter of Boud and Reva (Deeter) Heffernan. She was a member of Rocky Grove Grace United Methodist Church in Franklin, Pa., a 1959 graduate of Cochranton High School, a devoted mother and grandmother and loved to travel and read. Kay is survived by her husband, John McCarthy whom she married April 30, 1960 in Cooperstown, Pa., one daughter Robyn and her husband Ron Darocha of Lordstown, and their 3 children, Jason, Matthew and Heather Darocha, her mother Reva Hogg of Cooperstown, Pa., a brother Darryl “Jack” and his wife Judy Heffernan of Cochranton, Pa., Aunts, Uncles and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-5 and 7-9 PM Monday. Family requests that material contributions take the form of donation to the International Myeloma Foundation.
