Lori Marie Daws

Lori Marie Daws, 55 of Warren, died Thursday morning, September 27, 2018, at University Of Pittsburgh Medical Center, Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh of an extended illness. She was born June 1, 1963 in Warren the daughter of the late Ronald William "Skip" Dawson and Arlene Kay Gourley Dawson of Warren. Lori was a 1981 graduate of Warren Western Reserve High School and graduated with a bachelors degree in early childhood education from Kent State University. She taught for 15 years as a preschool teacher with Headstart (TCAP) in Warren. Lori was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Champion. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren and enjoyed reading. Her husband, Keith A. Daws preceded her in death September 13, 2009. She is survived by her mother, Arlene K. Dawson of Warren; two daughters, Lacie M. (Joseph) Daws Jakubec and Brittany A. (Brian) Daws Smith both of Warren; one stepdaughter, Angela R. Daws of Warren; one stepson, Cody R. Daws of Whitehall, Ark.; four grandchildren, Cameron Yager, Jaxon Jakubec, Aaliyah and Arayah Smith and one brother, David J. Dawson of Warren. The funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service.
