Louis A. Kramer



Louis A. Kramer passed away in October. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. He is survived by his brother and sister; nieces and nephews; four children; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He shared his life with his wife of 45 plus years and lastly beloved dog.

Lou led a very full and active life. He was into competitive diving, sailing, road trips, inline and ice hockey, kayaking, recumbent bike riding, camping, pickleball and playing gin rummy.

He served on the board of the condo association; volunteered his time with fraternal organizations, always making a difference, and attended many classmate dinners.

He served his country in the Vietnam War, and on his way to Vietnam the plane drifted into Russian airspace. He and his fellow passengers were guests of the Russians; were released and continued to Vietnam.

His career spanned many years in the heat treat industry as a field service engineer, which led to travel in many countries: China, Brazil, Korea, Russia and throughout the United States.

Lou was very loved and cherished by many. He will truly be missed.
