Funeral services will be 3 pm Thursday at the Lane Family Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel for Lucretia Frances Ohl who passed away Sunday evening at Omni Manor. Lucretia was born June 10, 1923 in Rayland, OH and was raised by Joseph and Nellie (Gordon) Banks. She was a member of the former First United Methodist Church in Mineral Ridge, where she was employed as the janitor for 55 years. She was a member of the Garden Club, the Gay Time Card Club, United Methodist Women all of the church, and the Rebekah Lodge in Mineral Ridge. Her husband, William Ohl, whom she married April 24, 1944, passed away June 24, 2000. Lucretia will be sadly missed by five children: Glenn (Sherie) Ohl of Mineral Ridge, Terry Ohl of Mineral Ridge, Kathleen Ohl of Warren, Patricia (Dana) Gunnoe of Ravenna, and Janice (James) Koren of Mineral Ridge; a daughter in law Ruth Ohl of Austintown; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, Lucretia is preceded in death by a son Jonathan Ohl and a brother Charles Gordon. Friends may call from 1 pm until 3 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the New Hope Methodist Church in Lucretia's name.
