Lucy E. Binben, 91 of Warren, died at 8 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012, at St. Joseph Health Center. She was born May 27, 1921 in East Brady, Pa. the daughter of George and Lucy Ivic Yovich. She had been a Trumbull county resident most of her life. Lucy worked at Packard Electric as a braider and was a homemaker most of her life. She was a member of St. James Church in Warren, where she volunteered for both the church and St. James School for many years. Lucy enjoyed flower gardening and the outdoors and also working around the house and painting. She was an avid Cleveland Cavaliers and Indians fan. She especially loved spending time with her son and family. Lucy is survived by one son, Victor J. (Mona) Binben Jr. of Warren; one grandson, Thomas Durham of Champion; one great granddaughter, Jordan Aly Durham; one sister, Maryann "Mickey" Cheredar of Champion and several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Russ Cheredar of Champion. Her husband of 51 years, Victor J. Binben Sr., whom she married August 16, 1947 preceded in death in 1998. Two brothers, Stephen and George Yovich have also both preceded her in death. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren Rev. James P. Walker officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Cortland Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund at St. James Catholic Church or to the John F.
