Ludmila V. Koltsova

Mrs. Ludmila V. Koltsova, age 75, of Cortland, died at 4:14 am Thursday, November 12, 2009, in the emergency room at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born July 10, 1934 in Donskoi, Russia the daughter of the late Vasiliy and Galina (Tyajkun) Tokarev. She has been a Cortland resident since 2000, moving here from Russia. Ludmila was retired from her medical practice, where she was a physician for 40 years in Russia. She was a member of the Russian Orthodox faith. She enjoyed reading, music and gardening. Ludmila loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Petr P. Koltsov, whom she married March 6, 1959; one son, Arkadiy (Yelena) Koltsov of Cortland and two grandchildren, Jane and Alex. Arrangements are being handled by Shafer-Winans Funeral Chapel in Cortland, where the family will receive friends for one hour prior to the funeral service at noon Saturday, November 14, 2009.
