Lula L. "Lou" Littell

Lula "Lou" Littell, 80, of Howland went home to be with her Savior, Tuesday, October 2, 2018, surrounded by loving family. Lou was born June 13, 1938 in Hundred, West Virginia, the eldest child of Arnold and Joanne Sine. Hundred remained Lou's home in her heart, and her favorite place to be was on the porch swing at Buck's. Lou married Marvin Littell the day after her twentieth birthday, and they recently celebrated sixty happy years together. Family meant everything to Lou, and she and Marvin were blessed with six children, fifteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. Lou was also a popular babysitter for over forty years, and was considered "Grandma Lou" by many. Lou was a member of the Warren Baptist Temple for more than fifty years, and spent many years teaching her Kindergarten class and planning church functions. The dearest friends of Lou were from her church family. Left to cherish Lou's memory is her husband, Marvin Littell; her siblings: Leroy "Buck" Sine, Donna (Darrell) Skaggs, Dr. Wilbur "Zinn" (Judy) Sine, and Linda (Dallas) Sturm; children: Jeffery (Robin) Littell, Bonnie (Ken) Barnett, Todd (Tracie) Littell, and Amanda (Larry) Charlton; and her numerous grandchildren. Preceding Lou in death were her babies, Samuel and Lisa, and her parents. Lou's faith carried her through any hard times in her life, and she believed wholeheartedly that "it's all in God's hands." Calling hours will be 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2018 and 11 to noon on Friday, October 5th, with services to celebrate Lou's life at 7 p.m. Thursday and noon Friday at the Warren Baptist Temple. Burial to follow at Howland Township Cemetery. Material contributions may be made, in Lou's memory, to Warren Baptist Temple.
