Lynne A. Dorcas

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Lynne Dorcas age 58 of 291 Dartmouth Dr. Canfield who died Saturday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Medical Center after becoming ill at work. Lynne was born Oct. 20, 1944 in Youngstown the daughter of Robert and Marian (Mc Gowen) Dorcas. Lynne has been employed as a housekeeper for Brairfield Manor Nursing Home in Austintown for 15 years. She was a member of Canfield United Methodist Church and a 1962 graduate of Canfield High School. Lynne was a member of the Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem, member of the Supreme Caldron and was a member of the greeters and patrol of the former Aut Mori Caldron. She is survived by her parents Robert and Marian Dorcas, her brother and sister in law William and Amy Dorcas all of Canfield. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Bill and Sandy Dorcas, Marilyn and Larry Blasko, and Stephany and Jeff Stewart. Friend may call Monday evening from 5-8 PM at the funeral home and 1 hour before services Tuesday. Family requests that memorial tributes take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley.
