Marcia Sue Beavers

Marcia Sue Houlette-Lamphear-DelCourt-Corder-Beavers, age 80 of Lodi, Ohio went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Cambridge Place Assisted Living, Cambridge, Ohio. Following complications from her extended health issues. 

Marcia was born May 26, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio. She was the daughter of Mabel A. (McFarland) and Harry C. Houlette. She was a 1961 graduate of Badger High School in Kinsman, Ohio. She loved to spend time with her great grandchildren. Gardening and crafting were her passion.

She worked for Trumball County Childrens Service Board as a case worker, Bowers Insurance in Cortland, Ohio. She was the Executive Assistant to the VP of Ohio Transformer and an Esteemed Author. She had a spice for life and adventure, a Gypsy soul with a heart of gold. She had many lifelong friends that she stayed connected with and loved dearly. Marcia will be deeply missed. 

She is survived by her first husband Cecil Lamphear of Cambridge, Ohio, her second husband Ronald DelCourt of Texas,  her daughter Kimberlee Lamphear of Wooster, Ohio, her son Scott ( Denean)  Lamphear, step-son Ed (Tracy) Marvin of Kansas, Grandkids Brittany (Steve), Bryan (Samatha), Scotty Jr., Olivia ( Robbie), Eva, Marcia Jacqueline “ MJ”, and great grandkids Kylie, Richard, and Teagan. 

She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Mabel Houlette, her sister and brother-in-law Alberta and Warren Chubb, and two former husbands Charles Richard Corder and Michael David Beavers.

Per Marcia wishes we are having graveside services only at Hillside Cemetery Cortland, Ohio. On Thursday February 15, 2024, at 12:30 pm. In lieu of flowers and donations, please send them to Kimberlee Lamphear c/o Avenue of Wooster 1700 E Smithville Western Rd, Wooster, OH 44691.
