Margaret A. Hazlett

Margaret A. "Peggy" Hazlett, age 77, of Austintown, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. Born June 23, 1940 in Youngstown; she was the daughter of William and Elizabeth (Allen) Ifft. Peggy retired from Giant Eagle in Austintown where she worked as a cashier. She enjoyed going to the casino. Survivors include her husband, Richard D. Hazlett, whom she married on January 14, 1981; children: Julie (Salvatore) DiChiera, Lori (Gary) Kraynak, John (Amy) Vaught; step-daughter Maureen (Jeff) Peterson; 9 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and brothers: William and David (Becky) Ifft. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Ifft. Friends will be received at the Lane Funeral Home, Mineral Ridge Chapel, on Friday from 4-7PM; where services will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, April 21, 2018, with Pastor Don Monaco officiating. Private burial will take place at Tod Cemetery. The family would like to extend their appreciation for the staff of Cleveland Clinic as well as Hospice of the Valley.
