Margaret C Anderson Davis

Boardman Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday at Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Margaret C. Anderson Davis who passed away at the Hospice House Thursday morning. Margaret was born May 7, 1921 in Kittanning, PA a daughter of the late Clyde and Dorothy (Hackathorn) Truitt. A veteran of the United States Navy, Margaret retired as a clerk from All State Insurance after 10 years of service. She was a former member of Redeemer Lutheran Church, a Past Matron and Member of the Eastern Star and Amaranth, a member of North Coast WAVES, and of the AMVETS. Her first husband Oscar S. Anderson, whom she married September 22, 1944, passed away on December 10, 1981. Her second husband Harry Davis, whom she married September 1987 passed away June 1992. She will be sadly missed by two sons: Clyde T. (Barbara) Anderson of Columbiana, and Kris L. (Marianne) Anderson of Poland, two sisters: Janet (Donny) Simons of Yukon, OK, and Shirley (Al) Cochenour of Struthers; one brother William (Edith) Truitt of Santeetlah Shores NC; a daughter in law Lorianne Anderson of Chino Valley, AZ; a son in law Robert Chaney; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Besides her parents and husbands, Margaret is preceded in death by a son William O. Anderson and a daughter Diane Chaney. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice House, 9803 Sharrott Rd. Poland, OH 44514 in Margaret's name. Friends may call from 2 pm until 4 pm Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel.
