Margaret E. Miller

Margaret E. "Moe" Miller, age 86, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017 at Hospice House surrounded by her loving family. Born September 24, 1931 in Youngstown, she was the daughter of Timothy J. and Leona G. (Lehman) Cleary. Moe was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Parish, St James congregation, where she served in the Altar and Rosary Society, as well as sang in the choir for many years. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cross-word puzzles, was an old movie buff, and had a knack for easily finding four-leafed clovers. Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Paul R. Miller, whom she married on December 26, 1951; children: Stephanie Phelan, Michelle Campbell, Kevin (Trina) Miller, and Timothy (Linda) Miller; 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; and sisters: Mary Jane Gould and Patricia (Ken) Williams. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Johnny and William Cleary. A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at St James Catholic Church in North Jackson at 12:00noon; friends will be received at the church beginning at 10:00AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either St. Jude's Research Hospital or to Hospice House.
