Margaret F. ''Fran'' Mackey

Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday at the Lane Funeral Home-Austintown Chapel for Margaret F. Mackey age 82 of Pleasant Valley Nursing Home in Lisbon, formerly of Salem who died 12:45 PM Thursday at the home. Fran was born June 8, 1919 in Albuquerque, N.M. . She was an artist and was well known for artwork, was a member of Dames of Malta, Weathersfield Garden Club, founding member of the Ohio Arts and Crafts Guild and helped organize craft shows in the Austintown and Weathersfield area. Her husband, Chaney Mackey, Sr. whom she married in 1947 died April 24, 1976. She is survived by two sons, Warren Mackey of Luther, OK and Chaney Mackey, Jr. of Beloit, OH and, 8 grandchildren. Friends may call from at the funeral home 4-6 PM Sunday.
