Margaret Hartzell

Services celebrating the life of Margaret Hartzell will be held at 11am Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel. Margaret was born March 15, 1927 a daughter to Glenn and Edith (James) Burkey She was a lifelong resident of Berlin Center and went home to be with her Savior Saturday afternoon. Margaret was a member of Mt. Moriah Lutheran Church in Berlin Center and was an avid bowler and loved spending time with her family. Left to cherish Margaret's memory is her daughter Cathy (Ray) Schafer, granddaughters Missy (Vince) Zerkle, Susie (Robert) Kingston, grandsons Tim (Angela) Schafer and Richard Hartzell. She also leaves three great grandsons Cameron and Peyton Hartzell, Matthew Kingston, great granddaughter Makenna Hartzell,sister Caroline (Billie) Haught and many half brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Hartzell whom she married March 13, 1945, brothers Bennerd and Melvin Burkey, half brother Edward and half sister Janet. Family and friends may call from 10am until time of services 11am Thursday at the funeral home. The Hartzell family request that memorial donations be made to Concord Church in Margaret's memory.
