Margaret L. (Clark) Kail, 82 SALEM Margaret L. (Clark) Kail, 82, of Salem's Smith Center, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Friday after a long battle with kidney disease. Margaret was born June 9, 1930, in Saltville, Va. to parents Cora Lee Manes and James Harvey Clark. She came to Ohio in 1946. Some of her jobs included St. Elizabeth Health Center in food service, Brentwood Originals, and helping her first husband run a car wash they owned in Alliance. Later in life, she enjoyed being a homemaker. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her two husbands, John A. Lukovsky and William Howard Kail; two older sisters, Mary Evelyn Smith and Alice Saunders. She is survived by several loving nieces and nephews in Maryland, Virginia and Arizona, along with local survivors, nieces Joan Smith Schafer of Berlin Center and Sondra Smith Raidel of Girard; nephews James A. Smith of Berlin Center and David M. Smith of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice House for their loving care and suggest that any memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Valley, 9803 Sharrott Road, Poland, OH 44514, in Margaret's name. Per Margaret's wishes, there will be no calling hours or services. A memorial service is being planned at a later date. "Although she will be missed by family and friends, we are rejoicing that she is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and we will see her again!" Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lane Family Funeral Homes, Canfield Chapel.
