Margaret Mcvicker

Yuma, Arizona- Margaret McVicker, age 78, formerly of Fowler, passed away Wednesday, April 10th at her daughters home in Yuma, Arizona. Margaret was born February 21, 1941 in Sharon, Pennsylvania to the late Jess and Irene (Mossman) Summers. She was a graduate of Fowler High School. She enjoyed playing cards and Bingo, she also liked to read in her younger years. Margaret relished the time she spent with her family and friends; also the new friends she made at the Johnson Senior Center. Besides her parents, Margaret is preceded in death by her husbands Robert Davis who died in 1977 and Walter McVicker who died in 1998; a newborn sister Phyllis Summers, a son Dale Davis, and a daughter Joann Davis. Margaret is survived by her children, Jennifer (David) Clark, Rodney Davis, and Eric McVicker, her step-children Richard (Paula) McVicker and Theresa (Luke) Kessel, 19 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, a brother John (Linda) Summers, four sisters, Judy Gates, Nancy Kimble, Carol (Bill) Cessna, and Elsie (Ken) McElhaney. Friends may call 5-7PM Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Lane Funeral Homes, Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 N. High St. in Cortland. The funeral service will be at 11AM Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Mary Prior officiant. Interment in Dugan Cemetery.
