Margaret "Peggy" Harr

Margaret "Peggy" Harr, 91, passed away on February 10, 2019 at her home. Peggy was born in New Brighton, PA on May 7, 1927 to Howard Earl & Mary Elsie (Hagerman) Bishop. She was a graduate of Beaver Falls High School. On June 4, 1949, Peggy was united in marriage to John "Jack" Harr who preceded her in death on November 8, 2015. Peggy was active with the welcoming committee at Shepherd of the Valley. She was avid knitter, making countless keepsakes for her family. However, and most importantly, Peggy loved being a grandmother and watching her family grow with addition of great-grandchildren. Visitation for Peggy will be held on Wednesday February 13, 2019 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Homes, Anstrom Chapel, Boardman, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial next to her husband will follow at Green Haven Memorial Gardens. Peggy is survived by her children Marjorie (Robert) Topoleski of Columbiana and Richard (Gale) Harr of Silver Lake; her grandchildren Toni (Nate) Rusu, Brandon (Sarah) Harr and Brittany Harr; and her great-grandchildren Parker & Aubrey Harr and Lainey & Ryker Rusu. Besides her husband, Peggy was preceded in death by her granddaughter Leslie Topoleski.
