Margaret T. Stabi

Margaret T. Stabi, age 89, passed away on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Caprice Healthcare in North Lima. Born March 6, 1929 in Struthers; she was the daughter of John William and Clare Margaret (Heining) Parker. Margaret married Frank G. Stabi on February 7, 1946; they were married for 43 years until his death on February 14, 1989. She worked at Fish Dry Cleaners and the Niles-Times newspaper. You were always welcome in her home. Whenever you were with Margaret, there was love and laughter and lots of it. Survivors include her nephew Paul (Barb) Gavin, who were her caretakers in her later years; she is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and many great nephews and nieces who loved her very much. A great niece, Lisa Beth Moore was her phone buddy for the last 15 years and stayed by her side in the hospital. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Mary B. Parker, Max H. Parker, Donald F. Parker, Elizabeth M. Sinchak, Helen Lewis, and Katherine E. Tarbet. A graveside service will be held at the Resurrection Cemetery Chapel on Friday, April 20, 2018 at 1:30PM. In lieu of flowers, Margaret would want donations made to local charities.
