Marianna T. Wilcox

AUSTINTOWN---Funeral services will be held 10 AM Saturday in the Austintown Community Church for Marianna T. Wilcox, 85, of 6105 Mahoning Ave. who passed away Wednesday evening in St. Elizabeth Health Care Center. Marianna was born March 28, 1917 in Bridgeport, OH, the daughter of John and Mary Walker Theaker and came to this area in 1937. She was the owner and operator of the Wilcox Food Market. She was a member of the Austintown Community Church shere she taught Sunday School for 25 years, and the Eastern Star of Niles. Her husband, R. Donald Wilcox, whom she married November 25, 1937 died in 1985. Two sons, John Paul Wilcox of Jackson, MICH and Kenneth H. Wilcox of Austintown, 4 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren survive her. A sister, Margaret Comin, brothers, Willard, Mansell and Howard Theaker preceded her in death. Friends may call from 4 to 8 PM today at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel and from 9 AM until the time of service Saturday at the church. The family requests that material contributions take the form of donations to the Austintown Community Church Van Fund.
