MARIE ANTOINETTE SKROBOLA, 75 Marie Antoinette Skrobola, 75, passed from this life to one in Heaven on Thursday, April 17, after a courageous battle with cancer. Marie was born on March 29, 1939, in New York, NY, to Ernesto and Margaret Fargnoli. On June 3, 1961, she married Andrew William Skrobola, who survives her. Marie is also survived by her children, Christine (Gregory) Dziak, Andrew (Laurie) Skrobola, Jay (Andrea) Skrobola and James (Heidi) Skrobola; three brothers, Ralph (Jann) Fargnoli, Peter (Linda) Fargnoli and Donald (Janet) Fargnoli; nine grandchildren, Nicholas, Will, Gina, Madeline, Benjamin, Jay Andrew, Joseph, Christopher and Michael; and numerous sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews. Marie was a member of St. Michael's Parish and Altar Guild, Canfield Community Chest and several Canfield bridge and mahjong groups. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, knitting and being together with friends. Marie was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved to be with her family. She was a caring friend and selfless with her time to all. But her true joy was her life with Andrew, her husband of 52 years. She is loved by many and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home in Canfield. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, April 23, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Canfield followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery in Austintown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Susan G. Komen cancer organization, 26210 Emery Road, Suite 307, Cleveland, Ohio 44128.
