Marie I. Dornshuld

Marie I. Dornshuld, 96 of Canfield, passed away Tuesday afternoon, May 7^th at her residence, surrounded by her family. Marie was born May 4, 1928 in Boardman, a daughter of the late Charles V. and Dorothy E. (Chapman) Martin and was a lifelong area resident. 

She graduated from Boardman High School in 1946. She enjoyed crafting, collecting lucky stones and rocks for her flower and rock garden.

 Her husband, Alfred C. Dornshuld, whom she married May 3, 1952, passed away January 17, 1988. Marie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed by her children, Charles L. Dornshuld of Poland, Carl L. (Minh) Dornshuld of Leesburg, FL and Barbara J. Britton of West Youngstown. Marie also leaves five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and her sister, Viola M. Davis of Woodworth. Besides her parents and her husband, Marie was preceded in death by her sisters, Edith Kellner and her twin,  Marion Manchester. 

Friends may call on Sunday from 5-7 p.m. at Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel and Monday from 10:00-10:45 am at the funeral home, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to give a special thanks to Tahijia “Teetee” Brown, her caregiver of Cornerstone Care Giving for her wonderful loving care given to Marie.
