Funeral services will be held 10 AM Monday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Marie Gearhart who passed away Friday morning at her home. She was born February 19, 1926 in Cherbourg, France a daughter of Augusta and Marie (Duprey) Morin, and came to the United States in 1951. She was employed as a repairman at Packard Electric for 25 years and retired in 1983. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, where she served as a greeter, and also belonged to its Senior Citizens Group. She also belonged to Cornersburg Happy Seniors. She enjoyed bowling, crocheting, reading and doing volunteer work. She is survived by her husband Charles A. Gearhart whom she married July 17, 1951. One son John (Phyllis) Gearhart and one daughter Linda (James) Gerberry both of Mineral Ridge, two sisters: Therese Tertuff of Cherbourg, France, and Madeleine Fevrier of Caen, France. 7 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren. Friends may call from 4-7 Sunday at Lane Funeral Home Mineral Ridge Chapel.
