Marilyn S. Morrison

AUSTINTOWN---Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Marilyn S. Morrison, 53 of Austintown who passed away Saturday afternoon at Austinwoods Care Center following a courageous battle with cancer. Marilyn was born February 8, 1949 in Youngstown the daughter of Edmond and Ruth Myers Magmore and was a lifelong area resident. She had been manager of the Perkins Restaurant in Canfield from 1998 until 2000 and had also worked for the Imperial Restaurant in Warren. Marilyn had attended the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and was a former member of the Youngstown Roadrunners Club. She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly (James) Pitzer and Jodi (Darren) Wiant both of Austintown and one son, Thomas Morrison Jr. of Mineral Ridge, two sisters, Linda Hays of Boardman and Kathy Black of McDonald and two brothers, Edmond Magmore of Austintown and Brian Magmore of Youngstown, four grandchildren, Zachary and Karlie Pitzer and Justine and Austin Wiant. She also leaves many close friends. Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday and one hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home. The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to Hospice of the Valley.
