Marsha Ann Burke

Marsha Ann Burke, 71 of Warren and formerly of Bristolville, died on Thursday evening, November 29, 2018, at her son's home. She was born January 16, 1947 in Lisbon, Ohio the daughter of the late Wilbur Leo and Betty Marie Mills Ferry. She was raised in Bristolville and lived there most of her life. Marsha received her high school diploma and went to Bristolville schools her entire school years. She worked at K-Mart in Liberty for 15 years and retired in 2009 from the Johnsonite warehouse in Middlefield, where she had worked for 15 years. She was a homemaker during her early married years while raising her four children. Marsha enjoyed crossstitch, loved collecting cookie jars and was an avid reader. She is survived by two daughters, Sherri Lynn Burke of Warren and Millie Ann Giesey of Youngstown; two sons, Christopher James Burke with whom she made her home and Randal (Kellie Jo) Burke of Niles; six grandchildren, Clover, Martin, Alana, Donald, Vincent and Jacob; one brother, Donald Ferry of Niles and two sisters, Bonnie Kellar of Bradenton, Fla. and Charlene (David) Smith of Madison, Miss. Her husband of nearly 32 years, Donald Lee Burke, whom she married September 11, 1962 preceded her in death May 8, 1994. One son, William Keith "Butch" Burke and two grandsons, Ryan and Tyler have also preceded her in death. The funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. Pastor Dale Briggs will officiate. Marsha's final resting place will be Sager Memorial Cemetery in Bristolville.
