Martha Alice Smith

Funeral services will be held 11 Am Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home-Mineral Ridge Chapel for Martha Smith of 2720 Warren Austintown Rd who passed away Saturday morning at her residence. Martha was born September 12, 1918 in Warren and was the daughter of John and Edith Mae (Radcliffe) Frazier. Martha had been a homemaker and had also worked for Trumbull Memorial Hospital in the cafeteria many years ago. Her husband Fredrick C. Smith Sr. whom she married in 1941 died July 23, 1975. She is survived by children Gloria (Dick) Markuten of Akron, Diane (Larry) Giannoni of Houston, TX, Laura Mae Mahan of Warren and Fredrick C. Smith Jr. with whom she made her home. She is also survived by 2 sisters Louise Piltz of Warren and Mildred Knepper of Champion, three granddaughters Stacey and Julie Markuten and Rebecca Dickinson, whom she had reared. Martha is preceded in death by a sister Mary Unks. Friends may call from 10-11 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
