Martha M. Taggart, 92, of Hanoverton, passed away on March 7, 2019 at home, surrounded by her family. Martha was born on May 2, 1926 in Summitville, the daughter of the late John and Angelina (Giovinasi) Arsuffi. Martha loved cooking, gardening, decorating and restoring antiques. She loved long drives in the country and spending time with the Lord, and reading the Bible. Prior to retirement, Martha worked as a sales clerk for Montgomery Wards. Martha is survived by her sons Delbert (Barbara) Ripley Jr. of Columbiana, Timothy (Cathy) Ripley of Hanoverton and Herb Ripley of North Carolina; her brother John (Kathryn) Arsuffi of Salem, her grandchildren; Sheryl (Rex) Hargrove of North Carolina, Tammy (Laura) Ripley of Oregon, Bert (Julie) Ripley of California, Michael (Mary) Ripley of Middlefield, Matthew (Christine) Ripley of Texas, Jennifer Ripley of California, Shannon Kerler of California, and Kayla Ripley of Columbiana; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by her former husband Delbert Ripley Sr. and her husband Forrest Taggart whom she married in 1982 and died 1986, her brothers Raymond and Nello Arsuffi, and a child that passed away at birth. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 12:00 PM Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel. The family will receive friends and family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
