A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 PM Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church for Mary F. Seidita, 86, of Austintown who passed away Tuesday morning, December 18, 2018, at her home surrounded by her family.. Mary was born March 1, 1932 in Youngstown the daughter of Frank and Rose (Ripoli) Lombardo and was a lifelong area resident. She was a graduate of The Rayen School, class of 1950. She was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mary was an active member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, its Alter and Rosary Society, Senior Citizens, and "Good Timers". She also was an avid bowler, enjoyed going to BINGO with her friends, and bus trips to the casino. Most of all, Mary enjoyed playing cards with her great grandchildren. Her husband Paul Seidita, whom she married May 17, 1958, passed away September 18, 1996. Mary leaves four children, Paula (John) Cambert, Jerry (Paulette) Seidita, and Anthony Seidita, all of Austintown, and Frank (Stacey) Seidita of Lowellville, one brother, Sam Lavanty of North Lima, and one sister Josephine Ross of Youngstown, as well as six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Besides her parents and her husband Paul, Mary was preceded in death by two grandchildren, and five brothers, Joseph, Henry, Frank, John Lavanty, and Ralph Lombardo. Friends and Family may call from 11:45 AM until 12:45 PM Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church where the mass will begin at 1 PM. The family would like to thank the management doctors, and staff at the Hope Center and Southern Care Hospice for all the care, love and support given to Mary and her family during her illness.
