Mary K. Fritsch, 67 of Niles, passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 18, 2018, at St. Joseph Warren Hospital from a short recent illness. She was born December 20, 1950 in Warren, the daughter of the late LeeRoy Chaney and Ruth Craven Chaney Elser. Mary was a 1969 graduate of Maplewood High School. She retired in February 2017 from Giant Eagle, where she worked as a cashier for 28 years. She was a member of the Salvation Army Citadel in Warren for many years. She will be missed most for the love she had for everyone she met. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Harold Fritsch, Sr., whom she married June 27, 1970; one son, Harold (Candy) Fritsch Jr.; two daughters, Schonna (Scott) Bland and Angel Hollins; six grandchildren and one great grandson. Besides by her parents, three brothers and one sister all have preceded her in death. A celebration of life gathering will be held starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Salvation Army Warren Citadel, 270 Franklin Street in Warren, concluding with a memorial service. Burial will be at a later date at Pineview Memorial Park in Warren. Arrangements were entrusted to Lane Family Funeral Homes, Roberts-Clark Chapel in Warren.
