NORTH BLOOMFIELD: Mary K. Lucik, 92, passed away on July 18, 2017 at St. Joseph Hospital. Mary was born in Rachel, West Virginia on August 19, 1924 to Mike & Helen (Popovich) Kanosky. She grew up in West Virginia graduating from Farmington High School in 1943. On June 12, 1948 she was united in marriage to Steve Lucik who preceded her in death on December 24, 2004. Mary spent her career working in the factory for Johnson Rubber Company retiring in 1987. She enjoyed playing Bingo, casinos and bright lights of Las Vegas as well as the quiet calm of bird watching and gardening. She loved people and her outgoing personality endeared others to her. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday July 24th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church; 103 N. Maple St, Orwell, OH where her family will receive friends for an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Brownwood Cemetery in North Bloomfield. Mary is survived by her children Michael (Janet) Lucik and Jacqueline (Joe) Sloan, her grandson Jason (Amy) Lucik and her great grandchildren Eric & Emily Lucik; her brother Mike Kanosky and many nieces & nephews.
