Mary Louise Major

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 12th at The Lane Funeral Home Canfield Chapel for Mary Louise Major of Canfield who passed away Monday evening at her home. Mrs. Major was born May 9th, 1923 in Youngstown, the daughter of Howard and Helen (Richie) Fannin. Mary Louise was a homemaker and a member of the Canfield Presbyterian Church where she was formerly a deacon. She was also a member of the Fact and Fiction Club. Mary Louise leaves her husband Seeley Major whom she married January 16, 1944. She also leaves 2 brothers: William Fannin of Chardon, and Jack Fannin of LasVegas NV. A daughter Linda Blott, as well as 4 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Fannin. Friends may call from 11am to 1pm on Wednesday, two hours prior to the services at the funeral home.
