Matthew Bartlett Kohuth

CORTLAND- Matthew B. Kohuth, age 52, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Matthew was born January 4, 1967 in Youngstown. He was a 1985 Graduate of Liberty High School and the Joint Vocational School where he studied HVAC. Matt loved the outdoors, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, frisbee golf, and football. He was a die hard Steelers fan and listened to classic rock, especially Led Zepplin. Matt was the life of the party, you could hear him before he would enter a room. He loved to cook! Matts door was always open for friends and family to share his life mottos. He was a proud member of Sheet Metal Workers Union #33. Matthew was currently working for Price Heating and Cooling. Matthew is preceded in death by his grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Robert (Fran) Kohuth and Susan Smith, his daughters, Sara (Joshua) Hines and Katie (Brandon) Luoma; his sons, Matthew Kohuth, II and Nicholas Kohuth; and a granddaughter Tina Hines. He also leaves behind his siblings, Bob Kohuth, Holly (Sam) Kuneman, Tracy (Mike) Pauline, Michael Smith, and Milo (Kristine) Smith, nieces and nephews, and many friends. Matt was one of a kind and will be truly missed by everyone who knew him. Friends may call 2-5PM Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Lane Funeral Home, Shafer-Winans Chapel, 164 N.
